Description

Role will report directly to the Chair of the Audit Committee and the Chief Financial Officer you will develop and deliver an internal audit plan focussed on effectiveness, efficiency and compliance with business policy for business as usual activities.

With line-management responsibility for a small team of auditors, you will aim to drive improvement of the control environment using 'best practice' standards, ensuring that key business actions are monitored through to implementation.

As a key part of the management team within both the wider business and the Company Audit and Risk Committees, you will have significant exposure to senior stakeholders and directors and have the scope to influence how our business works and develops on a day-to-day basis.

Profile

• You must be an experienced internal audit professional (preferably CIA, ACA, ACCA or CMIIA accredited)

• Able to produce, analyse an interpret data to identify trends/issues, writing reports and recommendations for audiences up to executive board level;

• A successful track record of identifying and delivering improvements to risk management, internal controls and governance processes;

• Able to effectively manage and influence others, driving results and delivering improvements by establishing clear objectives and encouraging personal development and awareness in peers;

• An experienced networker, socially confident in 1-2-1 situations or at group events and be confident and articulate when presenting to an audience,

• An organised, methodical approach to managing your own workload and that of your team, using well developed administration and IT skills

Job Offer

£55-75k based on experience.
