Financial Accountant

A Financial Accountant role is available within a rapidly growing and new company that is already looking to expand its financial structure, responsible for leading and ownership of the month end reporting function, along with overall responsibility for managing and reporting on the Debtors account control.

Your new company
This company has a relatively short life span and in that space of time they have began growing at a fast pace with 11 new partners in the last 3 years. Part of a subsidiary to three other entities this company provide IT services back towards them in addition to financial functions. The organisation is built on the best of public sector knowledge, expertise, experience and ethos, combined with the empowerment of employee ownership and the flexibilities and efficiencies available in the private sector.

Your new role
This role will entail you being in charge of ownership of the month end reporting function, along with overall responsibility for managing and reporting on the Debtors account control. In particular you will be providing monthly analysis and reconciliations for key balances for the 3BM subsidiary account and having overall responsibility for managing and reporting on the debtors control account. This role is quite an exciting one as the client have communicated to me that it will expand on itself in correlation with the growth of the company.

What you'll need to succeed
To qualify for this role you need to be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with a knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS. If you can demonstrate your initiatives effectively and demonstrate the ability to work independently and on your own initiative you will fit right in with this company.
