My client based in North Kent is looking to recruit an Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This company is enjoying a period of sustained growth and expansion which has resulted in this new position being created reporting to the UK Finance Manager.
This role is split into 2 parts. The first part is to support the UK Finance Manager with the preparation and production of the monthly accounts for the UK business. The second part is to act as the System Accountant for the new finance system, with responsibility for developing the reporting structure and troubleshooting users initial teething problems. The role will involve budget setting and monitoring, reporting and various ad hoc spot analysis.
The ideal candidate will have experience of multiple finance systems and have experience of supporting the implementation of a new finance system or as a systems accountant. It is important that this person be driven, ambitious with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. This role would suit a candidate who is actively studying towards CIMA/ACCA with at least one year's commercial experience.
