Divisional Finance Controller - £50,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Benefits; Exeter

One of Devon's leading FMCG businesses North of Exeter seeks a Commercial Finance Controller to drive profit within a sizeable yet growing business unit..

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be number one in finance and driving the performance for the c£190m business unit. Your responsibilities will include:

- Month end Close and performance reporting. You will be responsible for financial reporting, presenting the strategy for the financial success of the division. 

- Financial Planning covering all aspects including the annual budget, quarterly and yearly forecasts and continued assessment of business risks and opportunities.

- Control of the balance sheet, maintaining a constant focus on cash flow.

- Analysing all direct and indirect costs, driving cost control through insightful analysis.

- Control and analysis of stock. 

- Leading and developing the divisional finance team. One to one appraisals and mentorship.

 

Your Profile:

 

- Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with 2 - 5 years post qualified experience

- FMCG or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential

- Influential and interpersonal skills

- A strong commercial acumen.
