Internal Audit Senior

An Internal Audit Senior is required for a leading, innovative technology company based in Reading. Remuneration for this role is up to £65,000 and there is up to 20% travel.

The ideal candidate for this role would be a responsible, experienced Internal Auditor, capable of steering and controlling the allocated Internal Audit and SOX activities within the organisation.

The key responsibilities within this role include:

• Lead and actively promote and communicate SOX compliance strategy.
• Monitor and assess financial controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
• Propose and implement processes to remove or mitigate risk/gaps.
• Maintain the SOX training program and ensure training is executed across the business.
• Manage the external contracts and develop an expertise centre for software to be expressed.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience in Internal/External audit, SOX compliance, or business support. Extensive business experience including practical experience in a senior SOX compliance or Internal Auditor role is highly advantageous.
