Job: Senior Manager (Accounts and Audit)
Location: East London
Salary: £50k - £60k + bonus
My client is an ambitious 2 partner firm with a long history across the East London and Essex region. Due to grown and development within the firm my client is has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Audit & Accounting Manager / Senior Manager with a clear drive to continue their career development within a similarly driven practice. The role will provide Audit & Assurance and Advisory services across a diverse range of clients, whilst providing team and assignment management as well as training and mentorship to staff. Reporting directly to the Firm's Partners you will be responsible for:
Leading an exciting portfolio of diverse clients
Accounts preparation and completion
Audit preparation and completion
VAT, Personal Tax and Corporation Tax preparation and completion
Assisting senior colleagues when generating new business
Leading a team of qualified and part-qualified staff, with responsibility for mentoring, training and getting involved in marketing activities.
Candidates must be ACA or ACCA qualified, you must be able to demonstrate strong technical skills with extensive experience in audit and a comprehensive understanding of key reporting standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong people management skills in order to support, coach and mentor junior colleagues.
Candidates must also have excellent communication, relationship building, influencing, negotiation and team working / building skills are essential for this opportunity; as is a resolute ambition to build a successful career in practice and eventual progression to Partner.
