The Role
The Financial Accountant will take responsibility for the following: Significant involvement in the EMEA day to day accounting and GL activities related to AP, Purchasing, Payroll and related accrual/expenses. Assisting in the month end close process across EMEA and ensure all deadlines are met. Ensure a high level of Compliance with GAAP, SOX and local laws. Ongoing assessment of Internal Control procedures and implementing new systems and also system enhancements needed to support the business needs across the functional areas. Reporting to EMEA Financial Controller you will co-ordinate activities and deliverables of outsource accountants across EMEA. You will have significant involvement in monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and consolidation process for the allocated EMEA Subsidiaries and finalisation of each close and overall EMEA consolidation process to the standards and time-lines set.
Your Profile
The successful Financial Accountant will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ICAEW OR ACCA) with experience with-in a full spectrum of an accounting function, preferably in an EMEA wide role.
