A fantastic opportunity for an analytically minded qualified management accountant has arisen in one of the UK's leading Investment management firms. A practice background is preferable but not essential however you must be able to demonstrate the ability to produce monthly management accounts and have strong communication skills. This busy yet rewarding role will test your ability to work autonomously and to multi task whilst managing relationships with various stakeholders in the business.
The main duties will include:
- Creation and monitoring of budgets
- Reviewing and allocation of cost budgets
- Variance analysis of actual vs forecast
- Monthly production of financial forecasts
- General monthly MI reporting to various stakeholders
- Stakeholder management
Skills:
- You will need to be a qualified accountant
- Excellent numerical skills
- Strong analysis and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills including excel
You will need to be available at short notice and a qualified accountant. Financial services experience is preferable but not essential.
