My Bedford based client is a market leading Construction organisation. They work across a wide range of different sectors and have offices in the UK, as well as the Middle East. Description

A number of the key responsibilities that will be carried out in the Assistant Accountant role include:

• Preparing audit accounts.
  
  
• Cash flow forecasts.
• Bank reconciliations and VAT returns.
• Liaising with senior management.
• Responsible for specific projects including monthly project cash flows.
  
  
• Producing Dormant accounts where applicable, Audited accounts for active companies, subsequently dealing with Auditors for auditing purposes.
  
  
• Year end account responsibilities.
  
  
• Responsible for monitoring VAT returns each month, and assisting with VAT inspections or queries as and when necessary.

• ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified (or studying)
  
  
• Excel skills (intermediate level - Minimum).
