Finance Manager

The Company

Brewster Pratap are delighted to be working with a company based in Hull who are a market leader in their field who have a newly created vacancy for a Finance Manager

The Job

This job will report to the Group Financial Controller and will be an integral part of the management team for the operational finance function, developing, supporting and monitoring against financial governance

Supporting a specific project by providing commercially sound financial knowledge and timely and accurate management information. The role will challenge, deliver insight and support the programme to ensure better decisions are made, whilst ensuring costs are controlled and financial accounting standards are adhered to

Responsible for group's treasury operations, cashflow management including monthly & annual reporting and driving improvements with the support of external networks

Control of fixed asset procedures including formaliasing policies, CAPEX approvals, balance sheet reconciliations through to post investment reviews

Being an integral member at management meetings to challenge and support though process

Responsible for providing commercial finance support, insight and challenge to the programme

Responsible for timely and accurate production of all regular reporting, analysis and insight for the programme

Ensure robust tracking and reporting with post investment reviews

The Job

Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA with good knowledge of business strategy, structure, systems, processes and people

Good interpersonal , communication and presentation skills

Ability to deal with large volumes of data, analyse and present findings

Ability to challenge assumptions and the status quo

Work as a team to meet tight deadlines
