Company Accountant

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are exclusively recruiting for an ambitious privately owned SME in Doncaster. Due to ongoing growth and success in their sector this business now requires a full time Bookkeeper / Finance Manager to manage their day accounting function as a sole Accountant.

THE JOB:

Reporting into the Managing Director and working as the sole accounts person you will be responsible for preparing the accounts to trial balance and working with the external auditors at year end. Your key duties will be:

• Raising sales invoices
• Credit Control via email, letter and phone
• Handling invoice queries
• Processing purchase invoices and passing for authorisation
• Using Sage line 50
• Collating time sheets for payroll and passing accurate information to external bureau
• Managment Accounts

THE PERSON:

You will have previous experience of using Sage and be a competent user of Microsoft Excel. You must be confident and professional and able to work off your own initiative, able to question current systems and procedure and suggest and implement improvements.
