Accountant

Qualified Accountant - Real Estate - London. Our Clients are a firm of Global Property Investors, Developers and Managers with an impressive mixed property portfolio and plans to continue expanding. They are focusing on UK asset with the aim to develop their footprint in the UK markets and subsequently expanding the team to support the firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join a dynamic team.

The Role:

• Carrying out bi-annual forecast and annual budgeting.
• Preparing management reports for a portfolio of assets.
• Preparing credit review on tenants and suppliers.
• Enabling intercompany reconciliations.
• Responsible for VAT computation and billing.
• Processing payments in an accurate and timely manner, closing accounts payable accounts.
• Ensuring payment request comply to the required legislation.
• Preparing and monitoring accounts payable aging.
• Assisting with reviewing accounts prepared by Property Managers, Operators, outsourced agents for a portfolio of assets.
• Assisting with SAP implementation for UK entities, this includes material management module and general ledger module.

The successful candidate will have an accounting qualification with at least 2 years post qualification experience and a relevant degree. To succeed, the incumbent will have solid hands on experience and will be well versed in accounting standards and VAT regulations. The ideal candidate will enjoy communicating with different internal and external parties and it will be HIGHLY BENEFICAL to have experience with SAP SYSTEMS. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment to join a small team in a commercial environment.
