Blackwaters is recruiting for a Management Accountant within a dynamic global services business based in Surrey.

The Company
Our client is one of the leading global services businesses in the UK, having delivered solutions to a global market for more than ten years. A growing company, they are seeking a Management Accountant to join their financial team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role would suit someone who enjoys reporting and analysis within a finance team, and helping to drive business decisions through the provision of accurate data. There is the possibility of the role being made permanent for the right candidate, depending on company growth.

The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant will play a key part in overseeing the day to day financial processes, as well as producing reports when required.

Responsibilities:

·         Production of daily, weekly and monthly reports.

·         Producing the Board pack and presenting this pack to senior stakeholders within the business.

·         Reconciliation of sales to invoices.

·         Posting journals using Microsoft Excel.

·         Budgeting and forecasting for the sales team.

·         Actively looking for new ways to improve existing procedures to increase efficiency within the finance team.

·         Other ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.

Person Specification:

·         Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

·         Degree in finance related discipline.

·         A proactive self-starter who is eager to make a positive impact on business processes.

·         Experience of month end financial processes.

·         Strong communication skills, able to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders of varying levels of seniority.

·         Highly numerate with good attention to detail.

·         Experience of SAP, Oracle and Hyperion preferable.

·         Intermediate – Advanced Excel skills (V-Look Ups, Pivot Tables)

Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary: £250 - £300 per day, dependent on experience.
