Management Accountant

Our client is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to oversee and lead their growing Finance team based in Faringdon, Oxfordshire.

Our client is a rapidly growing business with operations across the Thames Valley region. They are based in a rural countryside location in Faringdon, Oxfordshire.

Description

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

• The management of the growing accounting team
• Overseeing the maintenance of the purchase, sales and general ledgers
• Ledger Month end reporting
• Preparation of monthly management accounts including financial analysis for senior management
• Development and review of budgets and forecasts with operational staff
• Monthly payroll on Sage payroll
• Team appraisals and development
• Systems improvements when needed
• Ensuring efficiency and accuracy of all company accounts and reporting

Profile

The successful Management Accountant will have previous experience in a similar role this will include:

• Proven experience managing or supervising a small team
• Previous experience of preparing management accounts and financial analysis
• Experience of Sage Accounting and Sage Payroll would be ideal
• You must be willing to undertake moderate travel to other sites if needed
• Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and train a team, as well as building internal relations across the wider business

Job Offer

The salary on offer is between £30,000 and £35,000 dependent upon experience, plus generous benefits.
