Financial Controller – Corporate:
Our client has 80,000 clients in 150 countries, an excellent opportunity has arisen to join the corporate team in West London.
About the Role:
Lead and manage the day to day operations of the Corporate Centre Finance function (team of 4 including this role), ensuring comprehensive financial control and support for the business unit. Key focus on: producing and developing monthly reporting, budgeting and forecasting; providing a financial support service to the operational management of the business; producing accurate and timely recharges across the Group and backup and support to the Group Financial Controller.
The role requires liaison with business colleagues at all levels, but most notably the Directors of the Group (CEO, CFO, Director of Legal Affairs, Strategic Delivery Director, Marketing Director, CIO, Systems Certification and Training Director), the Group Financial Controller, members of the EMEA Finance Shared Service Centre as well as working closely with the wider Finance members in the Corporate Centre. The role is key to ensuring accurate monitoring of all Corporate Centre activity.
Financial Controller – Corporate – key requirements:
- We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller - Corporate with hands-on financial management and strong people management skills of at least a team of 3 or more.
- You will have experience of providing financial support to senior stakeholders at Director level, therefore have exceptional communication and influencing skills.
- Experience of using SAP or similar ERP system, strong IT skills, including Advanced excel skills, experience of SAP (or similar ERP) and EPM/HFM
- A diligent approach and good attention to detail, customer focused with ability to build strong working relationships with non-finance and finance peers.
- Highly effective organiser able to plan and manage multiple deliverables across a team
- Educated at degree level or equivalent and fully qualified accountant qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
