Commercial Finance Manager

The SF Group are currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager for a household name in Sheffield. The company is going through a lot of change and restructuring which has resulted in the creation of this new role.

As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be reporting directly into the Commercial Finance Director, and will be involved in corporate finance activity. This role would suit someone with an ACA background who has excellent business and commercial acumen.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting in the restructuring of the business to make efficiences and make the business more forward looking
• Assisting in growing the business and ensuring good processes and practices for a future potential sale
• Setting up processes and systems so that the business is fully autonomous from the parent company
• Create and build a finance function
• Manage a small team to ensure all monthly processes are completed
• Responsible for the production and presentation of the monthly board pack

You will be a qualified accountant, preferably ACA qualified, but will consider commercially CIMA and ACCA qualified accountants. You must be able to drive change, and have a strong understanding of finance and business processes.
