The Role

Reporting into the Commercial Manager the Commercial Analyst will be responsible for providing all aspects customer reporting to our customers and be a key contact for customers and internal stakeholders.

You will be part of a Commercial Finance team of 6 who support the business in the delivery of the Strategic Plan across Sales, Marketing and Operations. As a Commercial Analyst, your responsibilities will include monthly end management of customer trade terms and Customer reporting, balance management, KPI reporting, decision support/business partnering and other adhoc commercial activities.

You will

· Ensure that all reporting is timely, accurate, suitably tailored and relevant.

· Analyse customer sales performance against budget, forecast and prior year including identifying underlying financial trends / risks / opportunities

· Provide management and finance with a clear understanding of how the customer trade terms are trending

· Production, development and distribution of regular and ad hoc management reports

· Identification of key / material price and terms variances for investigation with the sales team, liaising, supporting and challenging business stakeholders to understand causes.

· Prepare & take part in month end reviews with the Commercial Sales Director and the sales leadership team.

· Other Adhoc commercial reporting

Your Profile

· Graduate with business/numerate Degree (Or equivalent)

· Business & Commercial Capability and experience over a year

· ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified (stage 1 complete) or studying towards any of these qualifications

· You must be a self starter, who is results orientated and enjoys a continuous improvement environment

· To successfully business partner the sales team you must also be a strong communicator, who is clear and logically thinking to support the Customer needs (internal and external)

· Experience of SAP processes and systems plus Business Objects an advantage

· Strong excel skills

· Team player

· Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking developing results and meeting customer needs

· Competent at planning and organising formulating strategies and concepts

Salary & Benefits

£28,000k - £30,000k
