Business Analyst

Our client is looking to recruit a talented commercially minded Business Analyst with strong business partnering skills who will be responsible for supporting the commercial finance team with accurate financial insight. The role will involve Analysing key business trends, using both internal and external data, to support key business decision making and evolve strategy.

Key responsibilities will include:
*Production of high quality market and trading analysis by the commercial finance team.
*Working with finance teams to improve the customer offer, internal operating procedures, data capture and analysis.
*Cost analysis and budgeting.
*Competitor analysis.

The ideal candidate will either already be a fully qualified Accountant with demonstrable experience in a commercially led finance role such as analysis, transactional services or corporate finance. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with senior stakeholders is essential. You can either be looking to make your first move from practice into industry or already be working in an industry side role.

You will be able to demonstrate clear achievements in your finance career to date supporting senior stakeholders with insight and analysis. You will be highly numerate but also have clear commercial acumen.

You will have an excellent academic track record, be highly numerate and IT literate with strong finance systems skills as well as excellent ability with Excel.
