Retail Stock Accountant

Our client is an established name within their sector, reaching their market through a number of channels. With a diverse range of transactions in terms of both volume and value, their ability to monitor stock movements and make decisions based on meaningful insight is essential.

This is where you will come in. A Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), more than likely with some exposure to retail either through current or previous employment (or indeed as a practice client) you will play a key role in getting under the skin of the operation. A frequent presence in the warehouse or out in retail operations, you will ensure that all relevant controls and processes are fit for purpose. Reporting into a talented, development focused Financial Controller, you will strive to establish best practice and look to continually improve the current picture.

Accurate recording and safeguarding of stock across a number of locations, with subsequent input into price promotions and merchandising, mean that this role could be as suitable to somebody from a control and process background as it would from a commercial insight role. Manchester based.
