Assistant Accountant (x2)

SF Group have been exclusively engaged to recruit an Assistant Accountant post for our client based in the Warwickshire region to cover maternity (12 months). The post holder will be required to undertake a number responsibilities whilst assisting the Finance Manager. Previous experience working for a large organisation is desirable but not essential. Our client is looking for a self starter who can come on board and hit the ground running and furthermore, have experience working within the not for profit arena, however, this is not essential.

As the ideal candidate you should be part qualified (ACCA or CIMA or equivalent) although qualified by experience candidates will be considered. A background in roles with a similar focus on month end is essential. You will be accomplished in bank & balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals and journals. You must also be a strong communicator capable of business partnering with a number of critical stakeholders. Use of Excel to a high standard is desirable.
