Elevation Senior Finance are currently looking to recruit a Financial Controller for a Manufacturing organisation based in Wakefield.

Reporting to the Finance Director this role will vary depending on the needs of the business. You will take responsibility the day to day management of the finance team you will have duties spanning all accounts areas, along with taking responsibility for the production of various reports.

My client is keen to find a confident and personable qualified accountant with a passion for being involved in the wider business, driving the company forward and improving the processes and systems within. As a result they are open to considering both experienced Financial Controllers and Managers who are ambitious and are looking to take the next step in their career as long as they have the gravitas and knowledge to be involved in the commercial and operational decision making which will shape the path the business takes over the next few years.

Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:


*Recent relevant experience in Manufacturing
*Proven production and consolidation of monthly management accounts
*Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles
*Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
*Knowledge of production cost accounting
*Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to motivate others to produce quality materials within tight time frames and simultaneously manage several projects
*Five or more years of experience in a senior finance or accounting position
*Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional travel
*Excellent IT skills, producing ad-hoc reports on Excel
*CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified
