The organisation has successfully transitioned from an asset of the Department of Health to a commercially focused leader in the field of Plasma and Plasma derived products, growing rapidly in the US and other International markets. As part of this transformation, BPL has assembled a highly respected Senior Leadership team of Industry experts and it continues to upgrade its talent pool across all of its functional teams. It is in this context, that BPL is currently seeking to recruit an experienced and proactive FP&A Analyst that is looking to step up the challenge and grow professionally and be a “go to” member within BPL’s Finance Department.

The FP&A Analyst will support BPL’s Global FP&A Director in establishing company-wide financial reporting, analytical & planning standards across the underlying operations as well drive internal management report and external reporting to the Board of Directors.  The function will also have exposure to the Commercial Finance function/area.  Key for being successful in the role is to have a strong analytical mindset combined with a willingness to learn and grow into a change agent for the business. This will be a key position within the team as BPL develops its Finance function and processes in this fast growth environment.


Responsibilities will include: -

  • Drive global processes for budgeting, forecasting and reporting of actual financial results 
  • Understand the business performance through a clear, concise analysis and accurate summarization of the business’ financial results, including sales, volume and pricing 
  • Drive continuous improvement in the company’s financial metrics as well in its Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reporting
  • Identify and implement best practices and establish standard FP&A routines
  • On an ad-hoc basis, provide sound financial analysis for a variety of projects

The role requires a qualified candidate (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) ideally with a degree qualification and post-qualification experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.  A Masters degree is a bonus.  You must have experience in budgeting & forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning as well as knowledge of general accounting concepts and the ability to understand the linkages between business operations and the financial statements. The role requires a critical thinker as demonstrated by proven ability to analyse results, raise concerns and provide potential solutions.
