Finance Operations Director

A Finance Operations Director is required for a leading UK software organisation based in Slough. Remuneration for this role is between £70,000- 80,000 depending on experience with a 15% bonus.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a private equity owned business, with sustainable growth and great prospects for career progression. This is a new role where you will be part of the finance leadership team reporting to the CFO. You will have responsibility for all transactional accounting activity and management reporting. Within this role you will lead the convergence and improvement of core finance business processes, and ensure the highest levels of financial integrity and control, while managing a team of up to 30 people.

The main responsibilities associated with this role are:

• Leadership of Finance Operations function
• Custodian of quality of data and financial reporting
• Establishment of consistent group-wide finance processes and controls
• Consolidate & integrate accounting functions into co-located centres of excellence
• Establish & manage the shared service centre(s) to agreed SLAs

The preferred candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ideally Big 4 but flexible) and have experience of leading a finance shared services operation.
