Financial Accountant

This leading global information solutions provider is looking to hire a Qualified Financial Accountant to join the team. The post holder will provide the link between the UK Finance Team and the Financial Accounts team based in the Asia.  The remit of the role is to ensure the smooth running of the Financial Accounts Team ensuring all reporting is robust, timely and accurate whilst providing the team with an understanding the commercial impact of actives.  This will be achieved by monitoring the performance of the team, building on existing relationships, delivering training and development, supporting the overhead and treasury functions, taking the lead on accounting for acquisitions, integrating new business, harmonising accounting practices by engaging with the business to improve the reputation and effectiveness of both the Global Shared Services team and the UK Finance Department.  The ideal candidate will be qualified from a large firm of charted accountants, have excellent communication skills and the flexibility to travel to Asia when necessary
