Our client, a leading Commercial Company based in West London are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. In order to apply for this position you must be a FLUENT German speaker and be available to start work immediately. Please note that this role will require quite a lot of international travel to begin with.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of balance sheet in according to German GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS
- Preparing journal entries for general ledger purposes
- Preparation of intercompany sales and balance statements
- Month end duties including reporting and updating and maintaining closing schedules
- Performance of balance sheet and income statement accounting
- Updates and maintains month- end/quarter-end and year-end
- Processes accruals during month end close
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Person Specification:
- Fluent or native German speaking is essential
- Experience and knowledge of SAP is essential
- Experience in German GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP
- Financial accounting experience in EMEA, or Shared Service Centre, or International Companies
- Qualified Accountant or equivalent in Europe
