Service Charge Accountant
Accountancy Action is currently working with a distinguished property company in order to find them a Service Charge Accountant. This is a temporary position for 3 months and they need someone to start ASAP.
The client is looking for someone with 3-4 years commercial property service charge accounting. They are also looking for someone who can work independently and with little supervision. You must have good attention to detail and be a problem solver. They want someone familiar with RICS regulations and CIS. You need an understanding of VAT accounting laws and requirements.
- Prepare and reconcile the annual Service Charge accounts and clearing the backlog.
- Billing of Balancing Service Charges
- Billing of insurance charges to tenants
- Recovery of vacant unit charge liability for clients
- Cash reconciliation
- Liaison with the Auditors
- Enter Service Charge budgets onto the system
