Assistant Accountant

greenwellgleeson are recruiting exclusively for an Assistant Accountant in North Birmingham. My client is a strong brand in its sector and are committed to developing first rate Accountants through strong hands on exposure and opportunities to build on a multitude of skills in the Accounting arena.

The purpose of the role is to support the finance manager in both the financial and management reporting, as well as being involved in project work when required.

Duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

* Effective provision, interpretation and delivery of financial information
* Present financial information to management at different levels within the organisation
* Proactive approach to problem solving and resolving issues and queries
* Deliver financial and project accounting tasks
* Deliver various financial analysis and reports
* Perform financial reconciliations and investigations
* Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts

You must be a part qualified accountant with at least 2 years accounting experience, and want to join a strong organisation looking to develop an exceptional accountant. If you have a 2:1 or above degree and are studying for a professional accounting qualification with a good basis of management/financial accounting, this could be the one for you.
