Finance Manager

A rapidly growing High Street retailer are looking to appoint an ambitious Finance Manager to join their dynamic fast paced team. Due to continuous growth both UK and Internationally, they now need someone to work closely with the Head of Finance and manage a small team of 3. If you're a qualified accountant from a consumer background and have proven management experience, we'd love to hear from you! With new stores opening on a regular basis across the globe, this is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to play a pivotal part within the business.

Responsibilities will include:

• Coach and manage the finance team of 3
• Oversee the management accounting process whilst providing commentary and analysis
• Present management accounts to the Head of Finance whilst highlighting variances, risks and opportunities on a monthly basis
• Create and develop weekly reports across all segments of the business to highlight current trading performance and KPI's
• Responsible for producing and delivering the annual budget and periodical forecasts for the business
• Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and manage the daily cash flow availability
• Take control of the year end reporting process by preparing the annual financial statements
• Produce statutory accounts in the UK in accordance with FRS102
• Continuously seek to Improve day-to-day processes and controls

Experience and skills required:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Extensive knowledge of budgets, forecasts and P&L preparation
• A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a similar role within a consumer business
• Strong excel skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Proven management experience
