Position: Management Accountant

Location: Manchester

Salary: £22,000- 26,000pa

Employment Type: Temporary (6 month fixed term contract with a really good chance of going perm)

Your new role:

The main duties of the job include: assisting with month end duties (e.g. overview and production of month end accruals), production of monthly profit and loss reports, assist with monthly variance analysis at; regional, portfolio and contract level. Duties also include: preparing information for monthly business review meetings, reviewing overhead costs to ensure accurate allocation, conducting monthly reviews with; regional operations and contract managers. Finally you will be asked to support with activities geared towards the optimisation of regional cash flow.

What you will need to succeed:

In order to be successful for the job experience in Management Accounting and a full UK Driving License is also required. Candidates are also expected to have good financial systems experience (Oracle is preferable) as well as the ability to comfortably use Microsoft Office. You will be study for an Accounting Qualification and ideally be early stages CIMA or ACCA or completing the AAT. Service charge experience is highly beneficial. Finally you need to be flexible in travelling to other offices in order to carry out reviews and meeting.
