Butler Rose have been engaged on an exclusive bases to find an Assistant treasury Accountant for a newly created role. The main purpose of the role is to support the Treasury team in reconciling and maintaining each Invoice Discounting Financing Facility within the group.

The candidate must have experience of working in an accountancy environment (with strong emphasis towards reconciliation work) and be comfortable dealing with large volumes of data. Duties and responsibilities

• To assist in the monthly reconciliations for the facilities across the group in line with the requirements stipulated by our financing provider and within their required deadlines.
• To assist in the monthly internal reconciliations connected to the invoice discounting facility within internal deadlines.
• To be a point of contact for our Invoice Discounter and maintain good working relationships with them.
• To assist and prepare necessary information as and when required for audits undertaken by the Invoice Discounter (usually every 3 months).
• To prepare a monthly schedule as required by our provider to report company performance against covenants stipulated.
• To assist in the reconciliation and upload to our provider, schedules of invoices and credit notes across all companies using this facility.
• To assist in the preparation and transmission of BACS and Faster Payments as required.
• Cashbook data entry of the business current accounts as required.
• Co-ordinating weekly payments and assisting the purchase ledger team as required.
• Any other additional tasks to support and cover the team as may arise.
