Your new role
This role has been designed to add robustness to the finance team as well as technical rigour and excellence. The job will entail the supervision of a medium sized team of accounting support staff (they are all experienced and very capable so you will primarily be there as a point of reference for exceptional issues) but your main responsibilities will be to develop and deliver a more sophisticated management accounting pack including forecasting, medium & long range plans and analysis as well as flash reporting to support the commercial functions of the company.

What you'll need to succeed
This job is one that requires a qualified accountant with at least 5 years PQE (we are open to ACCA, CIMA or ACA) ideally with a background in manufacturing, FMCG or possibly engineering. You will need to be able to evidence a track record of innovation and process / reporting improvements and enhancements. Exposure to US GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley and other nuances associated with US owned businesses will be favourably looked upon.
In addition to your accounting expertise, you will be a confident people manager and team leader with experience to influence and champion change and improvements in process, reporting and culture.
