Park Royal Group Finance Manager £60-£65,000 + Benefits

Our client is an entrepreneurial distribution business, manufacturing and selling to retailers across the UK. Due to strong growth a new role has been created within the finance team. Reporting to the CFO this is a high profile role with an emphasis on developing insightful management reporting and analysis, process and systems improvement and building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders across the group. Going forward there will be projects around financial planning and analysis and implementing robust cost centre reporting to generate accurate P+L accounts for the business streams. Key duties include:

Production of monthly management accounts and associated Key Performance Indicators.

Managing year end audit and preparation of statutory accounts.

Managing day to day operations of the finance department.

Creating and managing the annual Budgetary process.

Planning, forecasting and variance analysis including cash forecasting for the business streams.

Developing cost centre reporting.

Bank Covenant calculations and projections to ensure compliance.

Finance contact for inventory management project.

Developing key performance indicators and communicating these to the business.

The successful candidate will ideally have had good exposure to general ledger systems and have strong technical accounting skills. There is a desire to build robust financial plans with analysis and review therefore you should have good commercial skills and the willingness to develop the role to enable better decision making. You will also have strong relationship management skills as this role interfaces heavily with the business and local operations. Experience of working with inventory is ideal as is exposure to working with the banks.
