Salary:
£45,000 (Depending on Experience)

Overall Purpose Finance Manager Role:
To manage and develop the company finance function and control the financial reporting.

The development and management of staff on an on-going basis.

Responsible to:
Chief Financial Officer


Direct Reports:
Credit Manager & 4 other Finance staff members

Main Responsibilities:

*Production of the monthly management accounts with the assistance of the Assistant Management Accountant for final sign off by the Finance Director.
*Balance sheet reconciliations.
*Liaise with the Company's Auditors and manage the year-end Audit process.
*Ensure the month end procedures are completed within the agreed timescales.
*Oversee the monthly reconciliations of inter group trading balances.
*Ensure statutory returns are completed as required.
*Provide support to the Working Capital Manager.
*Organize the finance team operations and procedures.
*Develop and monitor the team's objectives and performance.
*Assist and be a mentor to the other members of the finance team.
*Liaise with other departments of the business to improve efficiencies and develop reporting requirements.
*Other ad hoc analysis as required by the Finance Director.

Behaviours, skills and experience:

*Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
*Strong desire to learn and able to demonstrate ability to adapt quickly
*Analytical experience
*Experience of foreign currency trading & reporting advantageous
*Must be proficient using Microsoft Office packages
*Confidence in liaising with departmental stakeholders
*Ability to demonstrate management approach and take a proactive approach to developing team
*Internal and external relationship builder with excellent communication skills essential
