Elevation Recruitment Group's Senior Finance Practice are working in partnership with one of North Nottingham's most reputable manufacturing organisations as they look to recruit a technically strong and commercially astute Business Support Analyst.

Reporting directly into the Europe Business Support Manager and a Dotted line to the UK Finance Manager UK. The Business Support Analyst is member of the European Business Support Team and a focus on managing the raw material cost on a European level and manufacturing analyses for the UK production site. Supporting the coordination of European profitability initiatives to ensure the achievement of the financial targets. The analyst is directly involved in profitability initiatives: Price Management, Portfolio Profitability, cost improvement.

Key responsibilities will include:

*Raw Material Cost Reporting & Analyses:
oPerform monthly cost analyses based on actual raw material cost vs plan
oPartner with the purchasing department in order to validate the forecasted cost, visualize the future impact versus plan and identification of the future risks and opportunities
oFacilitate the process of cost improvement activities and validation of the savings reported
*Manufacturing Reporting & Analyses:
oAssisting on the monthly manufacturing analyses
oWorking with the operations and supply chain teams in implementing changes and the tracking the success of process changes
oSupport operations with analytics on a day to day to drive business decisions from a financial perspective
oUpdate the routing for the UK production site
*Forecast and Budget:
oSupport with the monthly forecast and yearly operating plan process
*Ad hoc projects:
oWork out a together with different business partners and functions on ad hoc projects in order to work on future strategy's
*Business Support Back Up:
oAs a member of the Business Support Team it will be key to understand the most important processes and tasks in order to be a backup for the rest of the team

The successful candidate will require the following:

*Extensive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
*Cross functional leadership
*Manufacturing experience essential
*Cost Management
*Advanced computer skills on MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
