Stanton House are delighted to be supporting a FTSE 250 technology business based in central London with the recruitment of a Senior Finance Manager. The organisation is currently launching ground breaking products to become the front-runner in both domestic and global markets. With these unprecedented product launches, the business is undergoing significant growth which creates an exciting opportunity for you to progress your career.
You will report directly to the VP of Finance and will be the primary interface between Group finance and the rest of the business. Building relationships will be integral to success in the role to ensure that finance is driving the overall Group strategy and direction.
You will be accountable for:
- Leading the budgetary process for the fastest growing unit of the organisation and ensuring that it is prepared in a timely manner and is consistent with the required results set by the group.
- Supporting the VP of Finance and providing ad hoc financial and operational analysis to advise the Business Unit president with strategic and tactical decision making.
- Taking a lead on preparing the business cases to support all the divisions of the business
- Developing and producing monthly reporting packs for the Executive Team and the Divisions Group Executive in a timely and efficient manner.
- Reviewing the performance of the business both actual and forecasts and ensure that all material issues and opportunities are identified and addressed.
- Building a small team of analyst to support the business
Key Skills & Experience:
- ACA or ACCA or CIMA with significant experience in business partnering, financial reporting and analysis within recognisable businesses
- Fantastic people skills with the ability influence and advice Director level and C-Suite stakeholders
- Exceptional analytical skills coupled with good strategic business understanding leading to key business insight
- An appreciation of best practice financial accounting standards, policies, processes and systems
- A commercially astute individual with the ability to improve the efficiency and profitability of a business
