Accounting Controller

An opportunity has arisen to work for our client, a world famous brand, who are seeking a dynamic individual to fulfil this key position within its Finance and Controlling team. This role will see you providing financial control to a niche unit and to act as a finance lead on exciting projects. This will include a balance of business partnering, reporting and planning as well as providing project co-ordination and innovation. You will be involved in the monthly financial reporting, financial planning and budgeting; providing commercial analysis; engaging with key stakeholders to both explain and understand the results. You will provide recommendation to the wider business, based on sound financial and commercial awareness, identify risks and work with the team to create a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a broad level of experience in finance, including strong forecasting and data analysis skills, with proven experience in management accounting/business partnering, preferably gained within a large, Blue Chip company. You will be an energetic and driven candidate with proven ability to communicate with senior management with confidence and credibility, strong Excel skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
