Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

This new position in the finance team will play a key part in assisting with the strategy for growth across this £100m t/o business. The role offers unrivalled exposure in a dynamic environment and would suit an ambitious ACA qualified accountant looking to set up and lead a financial planning and analysis function whilst also gaining significant exposure to corporate finance in industry. Key responsibilities will include:

• Co-ordination and completion of annual budget and forecasts
• Cashflow reporting and forecasting
• Harmonising KPI data to improve efficiency of budget setting for sales and operations
• Working with business managers to understand key drivers in budgeting and forecasting process
• Analysis of potential acquisitions and impact on forecasts / cashflows
• Integration planning and scenario analysis
• Preparation of financial information for potential funders and refinancing
• Assisting management accounts team
• Supporting year-end audit preparation and group consolidation

Suitable candidates for this role must be able to demonstrate a high degree of commercial acumen underpinned by strong technical accounting knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.
