A growing listed services firms with a number of sites across the UK seek to appoint a qualified accountant with a broad skill set developed within a division or group function of a Plc The role is a mix of management and financial reporting and suits a candidate who enjoys variety within the role.

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be accountable for providing performance reports back to Group Finance with respect to your dedicated portfolio. Due to change within the business you will play a key role in developing new controls within the business whilst ensuring risk is managed within the business in an appropriate manner. You will develop relationships with a wide internal audience hence you must be comfortable in engaging stakeholders both at a local level and further afield.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with strong reporting skills. Preference is experience from a service based environment but their is openness to candidates coming from other sectors where those technical skills are evident on the CV. An ability to work in an autonomous manner with limited hand holding is essential.
