Senior Finance Analyst

A Senior Finance Analyst sitting within the controls function is required for a leading, global technology company based in Newbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven individual to truly engage in external stakeholder management. Reporting to the UK Financial Controller, you will focus on the basics of providing excellent technical financial support, and delivering value added finance service across the UK and Europe.

The key responsibilities for this role include:

• Working with a Senior Finance Analyst partner to drive month end, within a tight time-frame.
• Reviewing P&L and Balance Sheet information and reconcile.
• Reviewing and adjusting accruals.
• Provide support for annual statutory financial statements process
• Complete and submit accurate annual payroll returns to HMRC.
• Interacting and supporting all internal, external and HMRC related audits.
• Ensure all month end controls are evidenced appropriately and in accordance with SOX compliance.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) backed by a degree in a finance or business related subject. Previous business partnering experience is required. Systems knowledge of Oracle, Cognos and HFM would be highly advantageous. International progression opportunities are available.
