Our client is a leading international business services group with a turnover in excess of $2 billion and with approximately 7,500 employees worldwide. The group is experiencing an exciting and impressive growth phase as it continues its expansion plans both organically and through acquisition and remains focused on being the leader in its chosen markets.
The European division is now looking to strengthen its tax capability through the recruitment of a technically strong Regional Tax Manager. Reporting into the Regional Financial Controller and with significant access to the senior leadership team, your responsibilities will include:
- Ownership of all European and UK related Tax matters, providing subject matter expertise on tax regulations and compliance to relevant stakeholders and the wider group where appropriate
- Developing and implementing a regional Tax framework including procedures and internal controls, ensuring their adherence and effectiveness across the group
- Business partnering with the senior leadership team to help build a culture of tax understanding and awareness across the region, whilst being the first point of contact for any queries from the US Tax team
- Delivering group tax projects, including the planning and implementation of a regional transfer pricing policy, leading on any potential acquisitions within the region from a tax perspective and providing commercial decision support on any third party negotiations
The successful candidate will be a qualified tax professional with a strong technical background with a robust understanding of transfer pricing. Previous experience of working within a US listed / publically traded environment would be highly advantageous.
