Finance Manager

Macildowie are delighted to be assisting a North Leicestershire based manufacturing business with the recruitment of a Finance Manager on a permanent basis.. This is a newly created role designed to further support the business through an exciting time in their development, as they look to expand both in the UK and through their export sales channels, following on from large scale capital investment on their UK production facility.
You will be a confident communicator, comfortable presenting and tailoring reports for a variety of senior operational stakeholders including MD, Sales Director, and Operations Director etc.
You will be a career driven, qualified Accountant who enjoys a rounded finance position, this role offers a clear and staged development plan to an FC position.
Responsibilities will include:
Production of the monthly management accounts, ensuring that the pack is delivered in a timely and accurate manner in line with business timelines.
Commercial Financial Reporting - Sales Reporting, CAPEX Investment Appraisals, ad hoc commercial information for Senior Level Commercial stakeholders.
Working with senior operational colleagues to present financial information to assist in the business planning process.
Day to day management of junior members of the team.
Take a lead on finance based initiatives to improve the performance and efficiency of the business as a whole.
Lead on the implementation of a new ERP systems.
To be considered for this role you must be ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified with a strong background in management and financial accounts, as well as having previous line management responsibility.
Ideally you will have worked previously in manufacturing.
Previous experience of implementing an ERP system would be advantageous.
