FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT - LONDON - OUR CLIENT: An international, market leading Investment Management company are seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team to provide accounting, financial reporting and oversight services in relation to a UK property portfolio worth £100 million. THE ROLE will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Review of corporation tax and VAT calculations: sense-check and vouch to accounting data.
  • Preparation of intercompany loan / PPL control schedules.
  • Preparation of inputs to investor reports and board reporting.
  • Assistance with responding to investor queries.
  • Preparation of AIFMD reporting.
  • Preparation of INREV SDDS reporting.
  • Preparation of INREV fee metrics.
  • Coordination of preparation of annual subsidiary budgets; first review of budgets.
  • Preparation of consolidated fund budget.
  • Preparation of fund cash flow forecasts and monitor cash transfers.
  • Monitoring forward funding development cash flows.
  • Liaising with external accounting suppliers to ensure instructions are appropriate, clear and followed.
  • Assisting in preparation of accounting memos for complex transactions.
  • Attendance at relationship meetings with service providers.
  • Assist in preparation of information required by the tax team to ensure fund tax compliance.
  • Oversight of fiscal and loan compliance across the Fund.
  • Provision of information to support consolidation reporting to investment group.
  • Attendance at weekly/monthly fund meetings.

THE PERSON: In order to apply, you MUST be a part qualified accountant (or equivalent) with solid property and financial accounting experience. A strong ability to analyse financial data is essential, along with the confidence to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external parties. The ideal candidate will bring a self-motivated and pro-active approach to the role and have strong organisational and prioritisation skills. Advanced Excel skills are highly desirable and knowledge of Property Management Systems (TRAMPS, YARDI, QUBE) etc. is highly beneficial.
