Commercial Finance Analyst

A well known retailer are looking to hire a Commercial Finance Analyst for 4 months.

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst will be:

Provide a professional, comprehensive and responsive business partnering service for store line budget holders, such as, Store Operations, Loss Prevention, Store and Field Management

* Deliver monthly forecasts which are accurate and in line with business initiatives across all category spend, highlighting risks and opportunities

* Produce timely, accurate and incisive reporting to enable department heads to manage their budgets effectively. This role is the main liaison point for financial information to and from our key vendors; as such the Analyst must be able to work independently representing the Finance team in discussions with vendors, Operations and Sourcing teams.

* Deliver timely and accurate accounting for month-end close supporting the Accounting team

* Deliver an annual budget in partnership with the business which reflects business priorities and delivers cost efficiency's

* Assist in cost/benefit reviews for all strategic initiatives. Provide analysis and support for ad hoc queries and requests from the Field Directors and Store Managers.

* Ownership of store budgets, working closely with the BI Systems team to resolve any system based reported issues.

* Support the wider commercial finance team as and when required
