Handle Recruitment are working alongside a successful vibrant Media organisation and are looking for an Senior Management Accountant to join their team. This is truly a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant keen to gain more experience in a fast paced and lively environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the appropriate control framework is operating within and across various teams
  • Ensure the profit and loss and Balance Sheets are accurately prepared, reviewed and communicated
  • Review of VAT return
  • Accruals - including our data costs, post campaign reports and ad serving costs. Everything else is prepared by the Assistant Management Accountant and reviewed by this role
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Petty cash and bank reconciliation sign off
  • Preparation and posting of US Intercompany cost accrual for month end, ensuring intercompany ties each month and posting of actual recharges post month end
  • Reviewing and preparation of monthly management accounts reporting pack
  • Monthly analysis on revenue, client entertaining and travel spend
  • Data and Ad Serving monthly reporting for UK VP
  • Calculation and preparation of quarterly commission and bonus statements to send to employees
  • Liaising with external data suppliers on monthly costs and then signing off invoices accordingly
  • Work on other areas of the management accounts process as required
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting processes
  • Liaise with auditors with year-end queries/questions on the management accounts

Your Profile:

  • Experience in managing and organising a team
  • Be able to deliver a high level of Customer Service
  • High level of Attention to detail
  • Ability to work at pace, be able to delegate appropriately and have a high level of organisational skills
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential, and knowledge of other MS Office applications is required
  • A working knowledge of an accountancy software package is desirable
  • Fully Qualified/ Finalist ACCA/CIMA is required
  • US GAAP and UK GAAP knowledge preferable

Salary & Benefits:

£40-45,000 depending on experience
