Finance Analyst

We are currently recruiting a Finance Analyst opportunity for a fast-growth Retail business based in London. This is a newly created opportunity and will work within the Business Planning & Analysis team within the European HQ. As Finance Analyst the role will support the planning and budgeting process for the European business and take responsibility for reviewing the divisional P&L's, Capital and Balance Sheet submissions for sensibility and accuracy and then consolidate them into a European picture.

The Finance Analyst will be a key contact for divisions and functional areas on planning guidance whilst partnering with multiple finance teams to understand and challenge their forecast and long range-plans. They will understand and be able to run analysis on the different levers within both the European P&L, as well as Divisional P&L's and identify and continue to develop key performance indicators to ensure the business is focused on the critical issues. As Finance Analyst the role will build, develop and maintain strong and open relationships within finance and become a key business partner.

The successful candidate will have an excellent academic pedigree and be a qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA. They will be able to business partner and explain financials to non-financial personnel and have the ability to develop relationships at all levels of the business. They will have developed analytical skills and be able to evaluate and make recommendations rather than simply providing reports.
