Our client, an exciting media company based in Central/London is currently looking for a Group Reporting Accountant. The role reports into the Group Financial Reporting Manager and sits within a finance team of roughly 4-5 people. This is an exciting role within a fast-growing company, with plenty of career progression to offer.
The main duties of the role include:
- Preparation of monthly consolidation journals
- Preparation of group statutory accounts
- Researching technical accounting issues
- Preparing bank covenant calculations
- Implementation of intercompany policy across group
- Managing recharges between group entities
- Responsiblity for reporting on capital project expenditure to the business
- Assisting with consolidation system implementation including a lead role on data migration
This role is well suited to an ACA/CA qualified accountant with 2-3 years experience in industry post qualification. Essential characteristics of the role include:
- 2.1 or above at degree leve
- Strong consolidation experience
- Preferably Big 10 practice
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience in data migration
