Salary: up to £25,000 per annum; depending on experience

About the role: 

An excellent opportunity for a Finance Projects Assistant to join their Finance team in Chiswick, West London. 

Responsibilities: 

You will be an integral part of the finance team to administer project based work carried out by our client for its Consultancy business. Working with the Senior Finance Analyst and the International Projects team, you will be responsible to ensure that all projects are documented to the required level. 

- Maintenance of cash flow forecast, project costing and revenues, for whole project life and on an annual basis. 
- Completion and retention of paperwork for application for bank guarantees. 
- Recipient of information, for all projects, collected by project offices (time sheets, receipts, administrative orders). 
- Reconciliation of variances in time sheet estimates and final submissions and posting of month on month corrections. 
- Provision of data for Finance and International Projects Audits and dealing with any queries. 
- Monthly forecast meetings with International Projects team to understand the variances. 
- Regular contact with project office Team Leader on financial matters. 
- Reconcile bank accounts to office cost receipts. 
- Set up of SAP material numbers and IP numbers. 
- Maintenance of purchase orders for subcontractors and holding of all subcontractor contracts. 
- Invoicing clients and liaison for the collection of payment. 
- Allocation of overhead costs. 
- Payment Run coordination. 

About you: 

- AAT part qualified or equivalent. 
- Knowledge of Accounting and Finance. 
- Excellent organisational skills. 
- Attention to detail. 
- Good understanding of Excel and Accounting systems especially SAP. 
- Highly articulate with excellent written and verbal communications skills. 

You may have experience of the following: Finance Assistant, AAT, Accounting, Finance Administrator, SAP, Excel, Finance Analyst, Finance Project Assistant etc.
