Treasury Accountant

Howarth Morris are excited to be recruiting for a successful global organisation who are world leaders in their chosen field. Due to expansion this fast paced / dynamic organisation is looking for an a Treasury Accountant to add value to a team of 5 in the Treasury team. Reporting directly to the Treasury Manager you will get an opportunity to work for a global organisation with progression opportunity.

This is a rare and impressive opportunity to add real value to a finance team and innovative organisation. The ideal candidate will have some Treasury experience and be at an advanced level on Excel. Previous use of SAP experience is also very advantageous.

Key responsibilities will include:-

• Maintain cash sheets for cumulative figures
• Reviewing cheque and petty cash requisitions and expense claims
• Helping with the creation of controls and procedures
• Administration - eg/ maintaining filing system for cheque requisitions, expense claims, preparation of daily banking and depositing at local branch
• Forge professional and effective working relationships with the team, customers, customer account managers and credit control liaising with stations and developing relationships with counterparts in the billing team to maximise efficiencies of work
• Identify and extract customer specific payments from the bank
• Other Ad hoc duties as required by your Manager
