My client, a very successful leisure organisation, is seeking a Management Accountant to act as a Finance Business Partner to the senior management of the business, and to help the business make informed strategic and commercial decisions.
The main responsibilities will be :
Person Specification:
Salary will be dependent upon experience but circa £35,000- £45,000 per annum
The main responsibilities will be :
- To provide financial and analytical support to the business, partnering with the all core departments
- To assist the business in making key strategic decisions
- Understanding the business strategy and sales positions in order to maintain accurate and up to date forecasts and budgets
- Review of operating costs and efficiencies
- To drive forward a strategy that optimises margins across the business, through effective pricing of products
- Review and recommend strategies for reducing cost and improving productivity
- Be responsible for the preparation of detailed annual budgets and strategy plans
Person Specification:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Have a strong analytical eye
- Have the ability to partner with finance and non finance personnel;
- Be able to influence others, at a strategic level
- A self-starter who can always operate within a team.
