PS Resourcing is exclusively working on behalf of a niche market leading design and manufacturing business based in York who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, this is a vital appointment for the Group as it will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of the finance function whilst providing assistance and input to the key stakeholders.
Responsibilities include production of management accounts, management of the wider finance team, stock control, ensuring the delivery of accurate and timely reporting, providing ongoing control allowing for minimal financial risk, introducing new processes and procedures to maximise efficiency (including stock systems and project/batch cost accounting), working with colleagues across the business with a view to delivering targets and completing ad hoc projects as necessary.
In order to be considered for this opportunity, candidates will be accountancy qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA, demonstrable experience of working in a manufacturing environment along with strong stock control skills, have a flexible attitude to work, hands on approach with the ability to add value on a daily basis.
